Paris, France (February 1st, 2023) – Kuwait Blood Transfusion Administration Services (BTAS) is implementing the advanced transfusion solution for blood components traceability developed by Biolog-id, a French digital health company. A delegation of the Global Diwan, an organisation focused on connecting leaders from Europe and the Arab world, met with BTAS management and team on the 31st of January to learn about this exciting East- West collaboration.

The deployed solution will provide digital visibility and improved control over multiple points of the value-chain for blood products

Following the successful experience of customers in the US and APAC, the adoption of the HD kit is expanding across multiple geographic regions.

Phase one focuses on a large medical center in the network
and includes inventory management of Platelets and Red Blood Cells in multiple locations

Preliminary deployment covers the management of Red Blood Cell (RBC) and Platelet (PLT) inventories in the central Blood Bank, as well as the Cardiovascular Operating Room.
