Apollo Hospitals, the largest private healthcare service provider in India chooses to adopt the Biolog-id solution, starting with largest hospital in Delhi.

The Biolog-id solution will support inventory management of platelets and red blood cells in the main blood bank as well as several remote procedural areas. Apollo will also deploy Biolog-id’s dedicated Patient Safety module line tailored to the specific needs of the Indian market.


Paris, France (July 5th, 2022) – Biolog-id is proud to announce that its Inventory Management and Patient Safety solutions have been selected by Apollo Hospitals – India’s largest private healthcare service provider. With over 70 hospitals and over 10,000 beds, Apollo has a unique geographical and clinical footprint, alongside an established tradition of clinical excellence.

Apollo Hospitals chose to adopt the Biolog-id platform to optimize the storage, distribution, and utilization of blood components, with the ultimate goal of improving the availability, quality, and safety of these sensitive, life-saving products.

The initial deployment will cover multiple refrigerators and incubators in the main blood bank at Apollo’s main hospital in Delhi, as well as refrigerators in multiple remote procedural areas. The preliminary deployment will also include biolog-id’s dedicated Patient Safety module that has been tailored to the specific needs of the Indian market. Following the successful implementation at the main Delhi hospital, the Biolog-id solution will be extended to additional flagship Apollo hospitals across India.
